On 14^th and 15^th June we had this year’s semi-annual meeting of the WBA. This traditionally took place at one of our partners, this year at the toolmaking of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen. The starting point of the event was the visit of the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. After an exclusive guided tour of the museum for all WBA partners, contacts of the toolmaking industry were intensified at an official dinner in a restaurant with a great view above Stuttgart.

The second day took place at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen and offered various specialist lectures. Dr. Wolfgang Boos informed the 130 participants on the latest developments of the WBA. The meeting ended with a guided tour of the technology factory of Daimler AG.
