PrioTisch

Interactive order management on the shopfloor with the help of a digital control table (PrioTisch) BMBF funding measure within the framework of the funding priority “KMU-innovativ”

Motivation

Small businesses often carry out customer-specific orders and individual repairs. As these arrive spontaneously, work capacity is difficult to plan in the long-term. This kind of order is a highly dynamic and complex process that has to be integrated into the normal production process as efficiently as possible. This leads to considerable planning effort, which drastically increases the costs.

Goals and Approach

The goal of the project is the development of a digital, interactive work table that enables the simple planning of processes by employees. For this purpose, a dynamic algorithm will be developed that spontaneously integrates the orders during operation. Furthermore, a human-machine interface is to be developed which will enable the employees to interact with the planning system on location and make their expertise available. To accommodate this, the control table will be complemented with tablets, monitors, sensors and lamps in order to make the efficient processing of orders transparent and simple for the employee.

Innovations und Perspectives

Through the interactive inclusion of employees into the control system, their individual expertise can be efficiently utilized for the planning of orders. As the decision processes for employees are transparent, this will also boost the acceptance rate. The software algorithms and simplified order visualizations lead to significant increases in efficiency.
