Moving into the New Premises

The construction activities and our move into the new premises have found a successful end: at the beginning of 2017 the WBA moved to the new location midst the Cluster for Production Technology on the RWTH Aachen University campus. With about 800 m² of office space and about 600 m² workshop area, the WBA is located centrally on the campus, optimal for the cooperation with neighboring companies, institutes and the university.

In accordance with our goal of fostering cooperation and knowledge exchange in the tool and die industry, our employees and members have access to modern offices and conference spaces. Our offices offer an ideal work environment, facilitating communication, creativity and innovation. Depending on the occasion and requirements, groups from four to ten people can utilize one of the four meeting rooms in the Tool Making Lounge, each uniquely furnished according to different concepts and with varying technology. Furthermore, the conference space as well as the seminar room, which is expected to be finished in Spring of this year, offer room for up to 50 people for seminars, training courses, workshops, meetings and presentations.

The completely open and transparent room concept also incorporates a generous and light-flooded open space area.  Not only does this offer sufficient place to work and be creative but also allows for the presentation of numerous demonstrators, which can illustrate the practical solutions for the tool and die making industry of the future.

All of our space is immediately available for rent. We are thrilled to invite you to our official opening ceremony after the completion of the last stage of construction.
